IMG Orientation Conference

This two day Orientation Conference is designed to address specific content areas relevant to IMGs beginning practice in BC. Conference materials will be delivered by provincial experts in issues pertaining to IMG orientation and integration.

Upon completion of the conference, participants will be able to:

Describe the model of care for practice in BC
Understand services offered by the various professional organizations
Identify ethical and cultural issues specific to BC
Describe billing and documentation issues utilized in BC
Identify whom to contact regarding questions that might arise from practicing medicine in BC

The next Orientation Conference will be October 15^th and 16^th 2010 at UBC Robson Square in Vancouver.
