Welcome to British Columbia! The BC Physician Integration Program (BC-PIP) provides International Medical Graduates (IMGs) on the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC's (the College) Provisional Register with a comprehensive orientation and introduction to the British Columbia health care system.

The Program is comprised of a two-day Orientation Conference held in Vancouver (mandatory participation for all temporary licensure IMGs arriving after January 1st 2008) and ongoing support resources such as preparation courses for the Part I & II Medical Council of Canada qualifying exams, monthly webinars, and support for supervisors of IMGs including an annual Faculty Development Workshop, webinar series and resources.

This web site acts as a centralized information portal, enabling provisionally licensed IMGs and their supervisors to access information on the various components of the Program as well as other important provincial and national resources for IMGs.

This Program is proudly managed and delivered by the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD).
