• Appreciating the complexities of a medico-legal structure and ethical standards that reflect North American patients’ and societal expectations
• Standards of medical practice expected by regulatory bodies
• Canadian cultural expectations/context and expectations of care in usual health professional/patient interactions
• Succesful completion of licensure examinations 

The purpose of the BC Physician Integration program is to assist provisionally licensed IMGs in overcoming these challenges.
